Phenolic resins are used to make PaperStone®. They have been around nearly a century since Phenolic resins have long been prized for their abrasion resistance and are still preferred for high quality automotive brake pads.

Strength

PaperStone® is extremely strong, dense and stable. No underlayment is required for support of 1/2” or thicker material. It can withstand 45,000 pounds of compressive pressure per square inch.
